Julian Sahasrabudhe "The r-colour diagonal Ramsey numbers"
it is our pleasure to announce that Julian Sahasrabudhe will be speaking on the Labs' next Big Seminar meeting.
Julian made several outstanding contributions to Combinatorics and beyond, in his studies of Littlewood polynomials, Ramsey numbers, sphere packings, among other results. His research interests include extremal and probabilistic combinatorics and its intersections with probability theory, analysis and combinatorial number theory, as well as Ramsey theory, random graphs, polynomials and matrices.
Julian currently works at the University of Cambridge (the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics).

Abstract:
In this talk I will discuss some of the ideas behind the recent improvement to the upper bounds on the diagonal multi-colour Ramsey numbers.
This is based on joint work with Balister, Bollobás, Campos, Griffiths, Hurley, Morris and Tiba.
