Igor Pak "Counting integer points in polytopes"

Igor Pak from University of California, Los Angeles gave the talk "Counting integer points in polytopes" on the labs' Big Seminar.

The talk will be held in zoom
Meeting ID: 279-059-822 zoom-link
Password: first 6 decimal places of $\pi$ after the decimal point

You can also write to Alexander Polyanskii (alexander.polyanskii@yandex.ru) or to Maksim Zhukovskii (zhukmax@gmail.com) if you want to be added to mailing list.

I will give a broad survey of the recent progress on counting integer points in polytopes of bounded dimension. I will emphasize both computational complexity aspects and applications which range from graph enumeration to Kronecker coefficients. The talk is aimed at a general audience.
